Teaching Experience - Voluntary
Between 2018 and 2019 I was asked to teach a ceramics class to the residents of St Oswald's Hospice in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. We looked at handbuilding - coil and slab - and worked with underglazes.

Employment
Over the years I have set up and run several businesses of my own:

2002 - 2011 ~ Proprietor Kid/Babe/Candi/Halo ~ I set up and ran a total of 8 shops selling baby and toddler gifts and toys, gifts for teenage girls and gifts for ladies. All based in Gosforth, Jesmond, the MetroCentre and Eldon Square.

1997 - 2004 ~ Founder and Editor of www.ukparents.co.uk, the UK's very first parenting and pregnancy website and online community. Many imitators followed. The website ran as a real time magazine offering advice, articles, forums, chat rooms and developed into a lively community. The website became no1 in the UK receiving over 3 million hits every month.
